What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (if you provide one) phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID instead of a password. We record your quiz and exam attempts, answers, and AI tutor conversations so we can show your progress and give you relevant help. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our M-Pesa payment provider (Safaricom Daraja) shares the transaction result with us — we do not see or store your M-Pesa PIN.
How we use it
We use this information to run your account, track study progress, process subscription payments, and power the AI tutor. Questions you ask the AI tutor are sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate a response grounded in our own question explanations and study guides — Google processes that text under its own API terms, and we don’t use it to train our own models.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t share it with third parties except the service providers above who need it to deliver the service (payment processing, AI tutor responses, and transactional email).
Your choices
You can update your name and email from Settings, or ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing customercare@auzziemed.co.ke.
